2010 United States Conference on AIDS September 12-15
Welcome Letter from Paul A. Kawata, Executive Director of NMAC,
Sponsor of the United States Conference on AIDS
Dear Friends and Colleagues:
The United States Conference on AIDS (USCA), set for September 12-15, at
Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, in Orlando, Florida is an event you cannot afford to miss.
USCA’s mission is to increase the strength and diversity of the community-based
response to the AIDS epidemic through education, training, new partnerships,
collaboration and networking.
It is the largest AIDS-related
gathering in the U.S., bringing together over 3,000 workers from all fronts of
the HIV/AIDS epidemic—from case managers and physicians, to public health
workers and advocates, people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHAs) to policymakers—to
build national support networks, exchange the latest information and learn
cutting-edge tools to address the challenges of HIV/AIDS. We hope you will be
one of them.
This conference website includes: the Call for Abstracts,
as well as Registration and Scholarship Application forms. This Call for
Abstracts has been issued by the USCA Planning Committee to solicit proposals
from people working in the field of HIV/AIDS interested in convening a seminar,
workshop, roundtable or poster presentation at the 2010 USCA. When preparing
submissions, please follow all guidelines included in this document, and submit
all required materials on or before March 26, 2010, by 5:00 p.m. (EST) either
online at www.2010USCA.org or by postal mail to:

2010. To apply for the limited number of USCA scholarships available, carefully
read and complete the application form, and submit all required materials on or

The journey toward a world
without HIV/AIDS requires the skills, experience and passion that each of us
brings to this struggle. As the 2010 USCA approaches, I hope we can count on you
to join us as we renew our spirit and recommit ourselves to ending the HIV/AIDS
epidemic.
Sincerely,

Director
