The 2009 United States Conference on AIDS Career Fair, set
for Wednesday, October 28,
from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., is expected to attract nearly 3,000
professionals from every field
within the HIV/AIDS arena, from health care and research, to management and
community outreach.
Employers who will benefit from participating in the Career Fair the most
include:

AIDS service organizations

Faith- and community-based organizations delivering HIV/AIDS services,
particularly in communities of color and to underserved populations

Health departments
-
Hospitals
-
Local, state and federal elected officials and government
agencies/offices

Pharmaceutical corporations

Medical supply companies
-
Civic and social organizations, such as the NAACP, Urban League, etc.

Other private and public entities focused on HIV, its related co-morbidities
(such as hepatitis A, B and C and tuberculosis) and/or other long-term
diseases.
Please note: Due to the expected attendance of this event, employers are
