HIV/AIDS Stigma Program

HIV/AIDS Stigma Program

The HIV/AIDS Stigma Program, funded by HRSA’s HIV/AIDS Bureau under a Cooperative Agreement Grant, offers three individual trainings that explore the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS. The trainings focus on how stigma prevents people from seeking HIV testing, counseling, care and disclosing their sero-positive status. Innovative approaches, such as the use of evidenced-based practices, interactive activities, scientific research and data are all incorporated into this training curriculum.
