Fighting HIV/AIDS in Communities of Color: An Action Plan for the Next President is the result of an historic partnership between 30 national HIV/AIDS organizations and leaders representing communities of color across the United States, its territories and Native American tribes.

It clearly outlines what the priorities of the Democratic and Republican presidential nominees should be in addressing HIV/AIDS in their administration - most notably in the development of a national HIV/AIDS strategic plan.

Support of Outrage over HIV/AIDS Epidemic in the United States
In a September 29, 2008 statement, Hon. Charles B. Rangel of New York in the House of Representatives announced his support of the September 12, 2008 article, ‘‘Outraged by AIDS Epidemic’’ by Virginia Fields, president and CEO of the National Black Leadership Commission on AIDS.
