Gilead Sciences, Inc. Presents "Beyond the Diagnosis" in Washington, D.C.

Gilead Sciences, Inc. cordially invites you to attend the Beyond
the Diagnosis community-based theater
performance in Washington, DC.
The performance will take place at the Atlas Theater on Thursday, November 19,
2009 with a reception beginning at 6:30 pm.
These performances, which have been shown regionally throughout the United
States, were captured from patient stories in story circles. After the story
circles, three short plays were created about personal journeys. Cornerstone
Theater Company, a Los Angeles based theater company, collaborated with Gilead
Sciences to capture these personal stories and turn them into Community Based
Performances to share with a wider audience. It's authentic and most
importantly is peer-to-peer education that focuses on the important issues that
people living with HIV face everyday.
We hope you can join us on November 19, for what promises to be a successful
and collaborative endeavor for the HIV Washington, DC Community. Please feel
