Supporting Networks of HIV Care by Enhancing Primary Medical Care
Announces 2009 Regional Meeting Dates
The
Regional Meetings are designed to provide capacity building training to primary
health care providers seeking to expand, improve and/or develop service delivery
to HIV positive patients in ethnic and racial minority communities. This year
special emphasis will be placed upon examining the critical factors that must be
considered by organizations that deliver comprehensive HIV primary medical care
and treatment services in the U.S.-Mexico border region.
Learning sessions will be available for medical providers, social
workers, and clinic administrators. Plan to attend both Regional Meetings I and
II!

April
28-30, 2009 - Regional Meeting I

June 23-25, 2009 - Regional Meeting II
Limited Scholarships are still available to cover travel expenses!
Eligibility:
Organizations must have at least a 2 year history of providing primary
care.
Direct grantees of HRSA/HAB for Ryan White Program funds are not eligible
for services.
Primary medical care sites serving racial/ethnic minorities with a high
burden of HIV disease should apply. These include, but are not limited to the
following: CHCs, FQHCs, ASOs, FBO, RHCs.
Other
relevant information:

will be offered for select sessions.
CEUs
will be offered for attendance to each
meeting.
