Gilead Presents Beyond the Diagnosis for HPLS Attendees
Friday, June 13, 5 - 11 p.m.


Gilead Sciences, Inc., a leader in innovative dedicated to improving the health of individuals around the world, is proud to present Beyond the Diagnosis, a special event for HPLS attendees. Beyond the Diagnosis will take place at the Charles Wright Museum of African American History, the world's largest institution dedicated to exploring the diversity of African American history and culture, on Friday, June 13, from 5 - 11 p.m. Attendees will be entertained and educated by two plays, a reception, live music and guided tours of the museum.


Beyond the Diagnosis is a collection of short playsdeveloped in collaboration with the Cornerstone Theater Company and HIV-positive people living in Detroit. The plays reflect the passions and challenges faced every day by HIV-positive people and the health professionals who treat them. Click here to view the event flyer.

 

6:00 - 6:30 p.m. Pre-show refreshments

6:30 - 7:30 p.m. First Performance begins/ touring of museum

7:00 - 7:30 p.m. Pre-show refreshments

7:45 - 8:45 p.m. Second Performance/touring of museum

9:00 - 11:00 p.m. Motown Event with Live Band/ Reception in the Rotunda

 

The event is free, but those interested in attending must pick up a ticket at the Beyond the Diagnosis booth in the registration area to attend. Complimentary round-trip transportation will be provided between the museum and the Detroit Marriot Renaissance Center. A detailed schedule will be available soon.
