Prepare for an empowering experience in the nation’s capital! NMAC, in collaboration with Us Helping Us, People into Living Inc., invites you to our upcoming ELEVATE training.

ELEVATE is all about fostering leadership among individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Together, we’ll build capacity and expertise to drive positive change in the planning, delivery, and enhancement of crucial Ryan White HIV/AIDS programs. We’ll also equip you with valuable skills and knowledge to excel in the workforce.  We also invite service providers of PLWHA and receive Ryan White funding to attend this training to share their experiences, hear the voices of people within community living with HIV/AIDS and learn aside them.

Us Helping Us, People into Living Inc. is a reputable nonprofit organization based in Washington, D.C., with a primary focus on addressing the health and well-being of the Black LGBTQ+ community, particularly in the context of HIV/AIDS prevention and care. Established in 1985, this organization has been a steadfast advocate for the unique needs and challenges faced by individuals within this demographic. They offer a comprehensive range of services tailored to meet the specific requirements of their target population, including HIV testing, counseling, medical care navigation, and support groups. These services are vital in the fight against HIV/AIDS, as they help individuals access testing, treatment, and support, while also addressing the broader social and emotional aspects of living with or at risk of HIV/AIDS.

In addition to providing essential medical and preventive services, the organization creates spaces for social support, empowerment, and the reduction of stigma and discrimination.
