Dane Lindquist is a 25 year-old health educator and program coordinator at JASMYN, an LGBTQ youth non-profit in Jacksonville, FL. Dane studied public health and health education at the University of North Florida and worked at the LGBT resource center on campus. At JASMYN, he uses his experience and education by creating and facilitating safe space trainings, safer sex programs and skill building workshops for youth living with HIV. Dane believes that the noblest work anyone can engage in is the promotion of human welfare. He hopes to have a long career in public health, focused on understanding and eliminating health disparities.
