2025 BHPS PrEPpy Awards Criteria  

NMAC is calling for submissions to the Annual 2025 PrEPpy Awards! 

We’re looking for social media campaigns that:  

  • Make learning about PrEP engaging and fun with visually appealing designs and captivating content.   
  • Highlight the diversity and reach of priority populations: women of color, gay men of color, trans communities, HIV 50+ communities, youth, and non-binary communities, among others.     
  • Use clear, community-centered messaging to introduce PrEP and HIV treatment knowledge in languages familiar to the target audiences.    

Priority will be given to campaigns presented in multiple languages, featuring actual community members, and targeting key groups like people 50+ and youth.

Selection Criteria

  • Clearly introduce PrEP and HIV treatment knowledge in an accessible and relatable way.  
  • Demonstrate diversity and reach across priority populations, including women of color, gay men of color, trans communities, HIV 50+ communities, youth, and non-binary individuals.  
  • Stand out for their creativity, cultural relevance, and potential impact on target audiences.  

Submission Guidelines

Submissions should: 

  • Be visually engaging and designed to make learning about PrEP enjoyable.  
  • Use the language and tone authentic to the communities they serve.  
  • Prioritize inclusivity, featuring multiple languages and actual community members.  

Awards

First Place

  • $10,000 Mini-Grant (deliverables to follow)  
  • Five (5) 1-Year NMAC Memberships, including:  
  • Unique Member ID for managing your membership online  
  • Discounts to USCHA, the largest HIV/AIDS-related conference in the U.S.  
  • Early registration opportunities  
  • VIP member-only e
  • Membership swag  
  • Exclusive access to NMAC’s Learning Library and LinkedIn group  
  • Digital membership display and award tag on LinkedIn  
  • NMAC cross-promotion on social media  
  • Opportunity to present progress at the 2025 Summit

Second Place

  • Four (4) 1-Year NMAC Memberships

Third Place

  • Three (3) 1-Year NMAC Memberships  
  • Digital award tag on LinkedIn  
  • NMAC cross-promotion on social media  

Deadlines

Submissions are due by Monday, February 3, 2025.
