Amanda Phi (she/her/hers) is the Women’s Health Specialist at the NYC Department of Health. Through her work in New York Knows, a citywide HIV testing initiative, Amanda leads two community engagement coalitions focused on making sure all New Yorkers know their HIV status and are connected to care and prevention services. In 2016, Amanda founded, and currently chairs, the New York Knows Women’s Advisory Board, a body comprised of a diverse group of dedicated and passionate women leaders with expertise serving and empowering women within their communities. Amanda also serves on the leadership team for the agency’s AAPI Employee Resource Group, and as a facilitator for the bureau’s API Affinity Group. Amanda is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and has an M.P.H. from The George Washington University.
