In the healthcare environment where change is the only constant, service providing entities, specifically non-profit community-based organizations are being called upon to increase productivity with decreasing resources. In these changing times, premiums will be placed on organizations that can respond quickly to changing conditions in the healthcare field and effectively help their clients successfully navigate the continuum of care. Particularly in the arena of HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment, community-based organizations (CBOs) and AIDS Service Organizations face a new reality. In order to remain sustainable and viable entities, these organizations ability to systematically and efficiently address, implement, and institutionalize change will be essential as many seek to integrate within larger health systems and care networks. The key driver behind this change is organizational leadership and its capacity to lead transformation successfully.

To help navigate change, NMAC offers the Building Leadership for Organizational Change and Sustainability (BLOCS) targeting organizational decision makers and Main Essentials for Mid-Level Executives (MEMLE) program targeting mid-level implementers of change.
