Patrice Huntley serves as the Case Management Coordinator at Compass Inc., an organization that provides HIV case management services, HIV/STD prevention services, LGBT youth groups, and mental health services to members within the community. As an alumna of Florida International University (Miami, FL) where she received her Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Science in Social Work Degree, she was afforded the opportunity to work closely with a variety of populations including adolescents, LGBT community, individuals with HIV/AIDS, mental health and substance abuse population as well as individuals and families affected by domestic violence. She specializes in case management, mental health counseling, and domestic violence and sexual assault sensitivity training. Her additional skills include being a certified HIV/AIDS tester in Palm Beach County and a Registered Pharmacy Technician for the State of Florida. She was recently nominated to be on the Carlos Alvarez Program Review Panel for the State of Florida’s HIV/STD educational materials database and also nominated to be a 2015 Fellow within the Palm Beach County Chapter of New Leaders Council Institute. She plans to ultimately earn her License in Clinical Social Work and begin her own therapeutic practice.
