Taimur Khan received his Master of Public Health (MPH) and Doctorate of Medicine (MD) from Tulane University, New Orleans. He subsequently went on to complete his residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine. He completed his Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Boston Medical Center, advancing his interest in HIV prevention and treatment. In his current role as the Associate Medical Research Director at The Fenway Institute at Fenway Health in Boston, MA, Dr. Khan has demonstrated his commitment to medical research and its application to combating HIV. His experience teaching about HIV treatment and prevention has helped disseminate crucial knowledge to professionals and communities alike. Dr. Khan’s experience as a sub-PI and PI on multiple PrEP/STI studies under the mentorship of renowned expert Ken Mayer attests to his dedication to advancing the field of HIV prevention and treatment.
