I am a peer advocate/ educator for the FACES program. I provide education and support for HIV positive individuals whom are recently diagnosed or just need someone to talk to for support. I also act as a liaison between medical care staff and patents and facilitate a woman’s support group for HIV+ women. I plan to take the information learned from USCA 2014 to help bring new ideas to the care team at the FACES program as well as share new information with the women’s support group. I also plan to share information with others as to how the FACES program is helping HIV+ patients live full and successful lives.
